anybody please who can answer my question ..ThxBabajee85 wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 5:23 pmHi guys,
My son who is living back home and hold the British passport needs to travel back in UK ASAP.His British passport has expired recently and can not travel at the moment.
Can i apply for him ROA instead of renewing the British passport because renewing can take some time.
I want to apply for spouse visa for my wife and want my family back in UK ASAP.
please advise is it possible for the child(6-years old) to apply for the RoA while he is having expired British passport.
Thanks
You should be able to apply for a CoE-RoA if your son has a non-UK passport.
Thanks a lot Simon ..Yes he is dual national and does not have the Pakistani passport but NICOP (Overseas ID card).Do he really need a passport because CoE-RoA is sticker which needs to be placed on the passport.secret.simon wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 6:28 pmYou should be able to apply for a CoE-RoA if your son has a non-UK passport.

Thanks Simon for the swift. Don't you think i should apply for the ETD (Emergency Travel Document) instead of CoE-RoAsecret.simon wrote: ↑Sun Jun 03, 2018 11:58 amAs the British passport is not current but expired, your son should be able to apply for a CoE-RoA in his Pakistani passport. And yes, he does need a non-UK passport for the CoE-RoA to be stuck into.
