Bringing My daughter

Post by Jefforina » Sun May 27, 2018 9:59 pm

Hi all, I have a quick question regarding applying for my daughter to join me here in the UK. Here is my situation:
1. Currently holding Permanent Residence Card ( after ROR following a divorce with EEA) and Married to a British citizen.
2. My Daughter is 16 years old and holds a Ugandan passport and lives in Uganda. Her birth certificate has me as the dad but I never married the mum and I have no contact with her(the mum).
3. I work and earn more than £24000+ spouse earnings of also more than £24000.
4. We have a mortgage and never took benefits from the state.

I was hoping to use EU route but realized very late that it doesn't apply to me anymore, right? So I went back to square zero. What visa should I apply for? what are the chances?

Thank you all.

Who does your daughter live with at present? Where is her mother?

Do you have documented evidence of sole responsibility/custody?

I have no evidence of sole custody. Only financial support evidence in form of westernunion. Any chance?
What if I go to court to ask for some custody?
