Family Visa - applying as a spouse - Question

Post by indiatouk » Sun May 27, 2018 2:34 pm

Hi Team,

I came to know about this board through my friends and after seeing the board questions and replies I must say you are doing great job in helping people uniting their families. Keep up the good work.

The reason i came here is - I was filling the application form for my Visa (As a dependent to British citizen from India) and was stuck at one of the question please see if you can help me with that.

My Situation: We are Family of 5 People and i am married to my husband for 6 years and have 3 kids.

My Husband - British Citizen, Living in UK
My self (wife) - Indian Citizen, Living in India
Child 1 - 4 Year old, Indian Citizen, Living in India
Child 2 - 2 Year old, British Citizen, Living in India
Child 3 - 7 Months old, British Citizen, Living in India

Due to some family elders health issue I was living in india with my kids and husband used to travel to India to visit us.

Now my husband wants to sponsor visa for me and my child 1 (both are indians) to come to UK and there is a section where homeoffice is asking about other child information who are not travelling.

We have planned to keep our Child 2 and Child 3 in India with Grand Parents until I will also find a good job to support my family.

Question: Will it harm my application if I my mention about child 2 and 3 not travelling with us and living with Grand parents? and do I need to provide any other evidence to support that they will be their grand parents and Only Child 1 is travelling with us?

Note: We are processing the application by providing accommodation requirements(Land lord consent etc..) meeting only 2 adults and 1 child at the property.

Your response will be highly helpful and appreciated.

Regards,
Sub

Re: Accomodation Requirement

Hi Team,

My query is also regarding the accomodation. I have 3 kids(1 indian passport and 2 British passport) and my husband is sponsoring visa for me(wife - indian passport) and my kid1(on indian passport).

My husband currently rents a 1 BHK flat and has got Landlord consent letter from letting agency that "they are ok with our stay( for husband, wife and 1 kid) at the property if granted visa.

Question 1: Will it harm my application if I my mention about child 2 and 3(who are british) not travelling with us and instead will living with Grand parents? and do I need to provide any other evidence to support that they will be their grand parents and Only Child 1 is travelling with us?
Note: We are processing the application by providing accommodation requirements(Land lord consent etc..) meeting only 2 adults and 1 child at the property.

Question 2: is it good enough to submit the Landlord consent letter along with tenancy agreement Or do i need to submit any other letter like accomodation ceritificate\inspection report from agency?

Please help.Thanks.
