As per the link tier 1 is now eligible for super premium service (am i correct?)

However, the example quoted in the link is for tier 2 and the cost is around £1900.

I am sorry but I am just confusing this with the service what people were getting unofficially through solicitors and law firms and paying £10500 for the super premium service for tier 1.

Does that mean now every tier 1 can officially use the super premium service at a lower cost?

Yes, it appears that Tier 1 Ent has more choice now but it is not absolutely clear if that is the case.

What is clear is that T1E will have access to the new system - so online application, biometric + digital document submission - is applicable to all the categories.

The example shown is for Tier 2, and there are clearly three choices. The two premium choices are new ones. There is no longer a same day decision - you have 10 day or 2 day decision. It is not clear if T1E will still have those options (I suspect not).

Either way, the current super premium is replaced with an "on-demand" service, so it is different from the two shown in the example.

I plan to apply on 7th Jan 2019.

1) Does that mean that if we apply online we have to follow the new procedure now?

2) Probably the only way to know if tier 1 has the 2 days or 10 days decision option is a matter of wait for HO to give more clarification??

or

3) is it that once we start the online application the system might prompt us with the options??

4) Please can you clarify what is “on-demand” service? Is this the new name to the super premium service?

If anyone has more experience in the following weeks/months please let us know about your experience.

I have the same document the CR001 posted, and my interpretation is exactly the same as yours.

It appears you will retain your travel documents but it is unlikely you will be able to travel with an expired BRP.

As to your earlier question, the timelines are in that same link. So, after 29th Nov, the new process is the only option.

We will have to wait to see what "on-demand" is going to mean but I suspect it will be quite similar to the current super premium

Retaining travel documents with a valid BRP still not sure if we will be able to travel as my BRP validity is upto Apr 2020. I think will have to wait and see how things unfold.

The immigration rules are very clear that if you leave the country when an application is pending, that application will be cancelled automatically. Unless they change that rule, it does not matter if you have a valid BRP or not - you will run the risk of the application being cancelled. But, of course, you can just apply again since your visa would not have expired.

Thank you for your reply. I dont plan to travel during my application. I think in the following month or so many changes will occur. I have not really started the online application but just the first step says this:

“Service Update
If you submit your application on or after 5 November 2018 you will not be required to provide a passport photo as part of your application. Any evidence requested after this date can be originals or copies. However, if we require your passport it must be the original and not a copy”

So I think they are making the process easier and convinient which is a good thing.

Please can you confirm my list of documents/evidence for ILR via Tier 1. Just want to make sure I am well prepared.

1) SET O online
2) Passports & BRP
3) Life in UK pass certificate
4) Employee RTI FPS
5) Employee Wage Slips
6) Employee UK/EEA passport copy
7) 1 month business bank statement
8 CT603 - original HMRC notice to deliever tax
9) Companies House Report - CAR and company filling history
10 3 months personal bank statements
11) Accountant letter confirming 24 months of FT job creation (I know this is not required in my case but I plan to send (optional)
12) Cover letter (optional)

Q1) I plan to submit CT603 dated June 2018 to prove company is registered for CT. I can also submit CT600 but trying to avoid as my company is in loss. Will only CT603 be safe or should I send CT600 also?

The problem is one of my employee job claim date is 1st Jan 2018. So ideally if I apply on 1st Jan 2019 that would have been perfect as I can go only 1 year back but its new years and I am not sure if i would be able to do that. So alternatively I decided to submit on 7th Jan 2019 instead and send in an early FPS for Jan 2019 to cover the extra few days. My accountant said the earliest FPS for Jan 19 can be generated is 5th or 6th Jan 19 as there is a cut off date. So do you think in my case 7th Jan is the best bet?

Why don't you just apply, submit and pay on 7th Jan or later ?

Don't understand why you want two separate dates.

Documents look ok. Personal bank statements are not needed either

Thank you for your reply. Yes that is a good idea I will do the same to avoid any confusions. I will get an appointment in 5 days after that so should be fine.

I ran a dummy application for SET O (Tier 1 route)

I can confirm:

1) The online form is pretty easy to fill and very straight forward.
2) It does NOT ask any questions related to finance section 5 (old paper form)
3) The only question it askes is “Do you rent, live with family etc question”. It does not ask any further questions about wages or how you pay it etc like old paper form.
4)There is only the STANDARD service for Tier 1 that is £2389 plus £19.20 biometrics total £2408.20
5) The online form considers 30hours a week or 120 hours a month as FT job.
6) There is only 1 slot for wage rate so i dont know what to do about it. But I guess recent wage rate would do.
7) The online form asks for UK degree and does not give any option to tick that you have already qualified for that in previous application.
8 The online form clearly says Tier 1 does not need to provide any absence evidence when it asks the question. The answer is OTHERS and reason being “not required for Tier 1”. But later on when it gives you check list for documents it says “evidence for others” and it says it is mandatory. So you just have to tick the box to move forward. But I guess its not important.
9) The only form says once you submit and pay you will be able to scan and upload evidence on the third party website or the evidence can be taken to the centre but it says it may be done for an EXTRA charge.
10 Original passport and BRP was also required at least in my case/nationality.

Hope this helps some questions others have.

Please continue in your own topic. This is another user thread and not a general thread.

The sample topic you are referring to is for tier 1 entrepreneur, your history suggests you are on tier 2, which is completely different!!

Note: I have not joined an existing business

1. The passport issued by country of nationality
2. Companies House Documentation to demonstrate your registration
3. Life in the UK test notification
4. Other evidence for absences from the UK
5. For Directors of a company - a print from Companies House of the companies filling history page and CAR to show you are director in the period
6. Real Time Full Time payment submissions
7. The degree certificate UK
8. Evidence of immigration status
9. Declaration signed for consent to HO
10. Current BRP
11. Document to prove employee was a settled worker....
12. HMRC documentation to prove registration
13. wage or pay slips to cover period

The exact question it asks:

“Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth”

So I assume the answer will be yes (in my case) as before 2010 I lived in my country of birth.

And if you have lived anywhere else I think it will give you option to add.

Following to the above question it asks further:

Country you lived in
Date you lived there from
Date you lived there to
Reason you lived there

I think you would have to list all the countries you “lived” in. NOT countries you travelled to. Cz the countries you travelled to are covered by the question where it asks you about your absenses.

The last 5 years applies on your absenses.

But I suppose you have to list all countries where you lived in even if it was 20 years ago and give the reason (atleast that is what the question asks as per my perception) e.g for studies, work, moved there etc

Senior members might be able to help here. Please help for the above query. As per the question you have to list all countries you have lived outside UK but I am not sure if you are a UK resident at that point in time do you have to mention that as a absense or living out intention e.g 10 months.

If it has to be classified as an absence then no need as absenses are only to be listed in the previous 5 years. But not sure.

It is countries you have lived in, not visited. During 2011 to 2013, you have been living in the UK, not your home country (even if you visited there)
