ILR - Can't get an appointment

Hello,

My husband's visa expires on 14 June. We are desperately trying to get an appointment at a premium service centre but all are booked. Do any new appointments become available? Any tips for how best to get these?

If we can't get an appointment we will need to make a postal application - any feedback on using the "faster reply service" - it appears possible to upgrade your postal application to premium service for an extra fee but only for the first 5 email requests received after 8am on a given day. Does anyone have any experience of going down this route? How many attempts did it take to be successful? Any tips? I assuming we would need to send an email bang on 8am to have any chance of success.
