Start on Continous Period 5 year - Tier 2

Hello All

I am currently on Tier 2 visa. I have a question, what will be my start date of the 5 year continuous period?

Tier 2 visa application submitted - 31/07/2013
Date of Issue 28/08/2013

Tier 2 Extention submitted - 14/06/2016
Date of issue - 24/07/2016

Will my 5 year period start from 28/08/2013 and does that mean I can apply 28 days before that which is 1/08/2018?

Yes..assuming you are in Tier 2 Gen main applicant and entered within 90 days of your date of visa issue, your calculation is right
