Tier 2 ICT visa query

I am currently holding Tier 2 ICT visa. However, the subsidary company outside of UK was sold recently. The UK company is a independent company now, with no connections with any company abroad anymore. Therefore, there is no longer an "intra-compnay transfer" connection.

What does the employer need to do with my visa if they would like to keep me in the UK for longer term? Is it possible to for the employer to change it to Tier 2 general visa?

Can I change job to a different employer in the UK?

I dont know how ur sponsor handle this situation. If ur offshore is not functioning then ICT is no longer valid (I may be wrong). And if u wish to switch to Tier 2 General, u have to serve a 12 month cooling period in offshore (unless ur salary is 159K GBP)
