Hi,
I am currently on a Tier 2 ICT work visa which will run out on 5th June 2019. As per the current rules, I shall not be able to apply for a further extension of the same visa category and will need to take the mandatory 1 year cooling-off period before having the possibility of working again in the UK.
Meanwhile, my child is currently in the UK on a Tier 2 Dependent visa and will be appearing for her GCSE exams, next year. Going by the time-table schedule for the GCSE exams in 2018, I assume that the 2019 GCSE exams will run during May-June 2019.
Issue: When my Tier 2 ICT visa runs out on 5th June 2019, my child's dependent visa will run out, as well. What options do I have to ensure she can reside within the UK on a valid visa for the duration of the GCSE exams, assuming they will end by 30th June 2019? For instance, can I apply for a short term study visa / a visitor visa on an individual basis to cover her stay for the rest of the month in June 2019?
Thanks, in advance,
