BRITISH PASSPORT FOR NEW BORN IN UK

Post by Karthy24 » Thu Jun 07, 2018 2:49 pm

Hi,

I am blessed with a baby boy and he is 3 weeks old as of today and we are planning to apply for birtish passport for him in 2 weeks time as I will be applying for my permanent resident by next week. I am applying for ILR on 15th June a month after the birth of my son and planning to apply for his passport the following week. He is currently not a citizen of any national so does he still required to get neutralised before appliying for the passport? Does the MN 1 form applicable for us before applying his passport?

If neither parents were settled nor British when child was born in the UK, then child is not British. Will be entitled to register after a parent has ILR.
