EEA dependent ink stamp

Hi all,
I'm looking for some advice about EEA dependant ink stamp.I'm EU citizen living in UK permanetly .I am getting married to non EU citizen living in France. After marriage I'd like my husban to join my to live in UK.We are planning to cross France/UK borders through eurotunnel. I'm looking for some advice from other people who recently entried UK via same road also what complication we can face if he doesn't hold shengen visa?
