visa extension guidance needed

Hello Dear Members,

I have been following this forum for quite a while and thank you everyone for sharing your views in each and topic where you can. Now is the time I need assistance if you can guide me I would be grateful to you all.

I am Indian National came on student visa in Sept2011.
Got married with my Polish wife in April 2013 in uk
Therefore got 5 year residence visa in Jan2014.
Now visa is about to expire in 2019.
My story in brief words
Got married April2013
Residence visa 5years in Jan2014
Wife stopped exercising treaty rights after Maternity in 28Jan2017 few days later on
02Feb2017 she got PR
I called few solicitors half of them said am not eligible to apply for PR as wife stopped exercising treaty rights and other half says I am eligible as my wife was exercising treaty rights that's why she got PR in 02Feb2017 and after that she is not obliged to exercise treaty rights.
Can you please give me some advice as to which way I should go for visa extension.
Am utterly confused and I believe as Brexit clouds are right up on our head they might be more strict then ever before in making decisions.
Please share your view.

Just to add little bit more clearance.
My wife has stopped working since jan2017 till today
I have been working throughout my stay in uk since Oct2011
Is there any visa I can apply for to stay with my family?
