Urgent advice needed guys. My sister, brother in law and nieces application for Standard Visitor Visa has been refused today. The reasons taken from my sisters refusal (they are all basically worded the same) are summarized below;
- "not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V:.."
- "..you state that you are unemployed and financially dependent on your husband who has been employed as a...I note that in support of this you have submitted photocopies of an employment letter and three payslips...I note that while the employment letter has been signed it does not provide the name or designation within the company of the person who has signed it. The documents submitted do not demonstrate that your husband is in receipt of this or any income.."
- "Based on the photocopied documents you have submiteed I am not satisfied that your current financial circumstances are as stated...the documents submitted do not demonstrate what your day to day financial circumstances are. I must also take into consideration that your husband financially supports you and your child and has stated that he has no additional income or any assets Turkey."
- "Given the above I am not satisfied that your personal and financial circumstances are such that you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit.."
I am rather shocked by this refusal because my sister and her husband gave all the necessary evidence, including bank statements showing salary income, payslips, etc etc. How is it that the refusal says "the documents submitted do not demonstrate that your husband is in receipt of this or any income"?? My sister has no bank account and is a housewife, how can she show her "day to day financial circumstances"?? In fact my husband (UK citizen) was Sponsor to their application and they were satisfied with our ability to meet the costs of your visit and accommodation - the only issue they have is V4.2 Appendix V - and that documents do not demonstrate that they are in receipt of any income - yet the bank statements show his income in line with his payslips? They all match up? How else do they prove proof of income and day to day financial circumstances?

Anyone have any ideas?
It seems they have no choice but to apply again. This will be the second application, so on their covering letters/my invitation letter, etc, should we write that this is the second application and what changes are being made document wise, etc, or not bother explaining what has happened and what changes we've made in this second application?

yes, mention the additional documents you are supplying against each of those points HO listed in the refusal
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.

Thank you.
The issue is that it was refused on v4.2 of appendix V, so they do not believe their visit is genuine, so they do not believe they will return to Turkey.
What documents can you provide for an unemployed house wife to show she has no intention of staying in the UK? The refusal said that they haven't showed day to day financial circumstances are but they included the husband's bank statements.. so I'm not sure what else they can provide.. she hasn't got her own bank account. Her husband works full time and their 10 year old daughter is in education. It's crazy that the HO think they want to stay in the UK.
any advice would be helpful.

Guys, they are gathering documents for a second application.
We have the sponsor and accommodation covered off fine, and their covering letters explain the changes they have made in this application compared to the previous refusal.
However, what documents can you provide for an unemployed house wife to show she has no intention of staying in the UK? The refusal said that they haven't showed day to day financial circumstances are but they included the husband's bank statements, so I'm not sure what else they can provide.. the wife hasn't got her own bank account. The husband works full time and their 10 year old daughter is in education. The apartment they live in is owned by the husbands father - so they have no asset to show.
PLEASE give some suggestions what documents to provide to show they will return - this is the hurdle they need to overcome.
