Appropriate salary for ILR in January 2019

Post by Eagle123 » Mon Jun 11, 2018 12:21 pm

Hi All,

I have a job offer with the salary of 36,500 a year, 40 hours a week. Would it be enough to qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain in January 2019? The reason I am asking that I currently work for 37,5 hours. Will the number of hours a week affect the ILR eligibility?

Also, in case I have a better job offer once my visa is granted. Can I apply for new Tier 2 visa in a short period of time after Residence Market Test is done?

All answers are much appreciated.

Thank you

You need minimum £35,500 a year (based on maximum 48hr per week). You cannot earn less than this, no matter how many hour you work.

Also, in case I have a better job offer once my visa is granted. Can I apply for new Tier 2 visa in a short period of time after Residence Market Test is done? Yes.

All answers are much appreciated.

Thank you
