dependent visit visa while main applicant T1e Extension in process

Dear members,

I want to know if i can apply visit visa for my wife and two children ( 2.5 years n 6 months old) while my extension in process. They were already on T1e dependent visa but left the country before my n their visa expired due to some family problems back home.
I am asking this question because these days T1e Extension can take upto one year.

Will it be a good idea to apply visit visa now or wait till any outcome for my extension and of course if my extension granted then i can apply their dependent visa again.

Visit visa got nothing to do with your extension but there is different requirement for visit visa.
They normally check that how strong ties you have with your country but in your case I'm pretty sure they will come up with refusal because you living here.
It happened with quite few people. Best thing is to wait for outcome.
Complaints and Involving your MP and Home Secretary will help to expidetes the decision.

Yes, as this puts their intentions to depart after their visit in doubt.

One more point
As my family was already in UK as my dependents till 12/17 and one of my child is born in the UK, will it be not enough to clear CW doubts and and my family intentions to travel Uk?

Unfortunately, no one in this forum can try to guess how a CW will think or act.

The fact that you are living here is not a ground for automatic refusal. I personally think it will be ok but it is impossible to say. The biggest concern in these cases is that your family will not leave after the visa expires. Unless your visa has some challenges, that should not really be a concern in your case.

Include tickets/booking for the return, explain why you are applying for a visit visa and so on.

But be prepared for a refusal.

They normally check that what's the chances for visitor to go back.
In your case, you already in uk so it can make them think that your partner and your kids will not go back.
One guy's family visit visa was refused couple of months ago. He is also waiting for outcome.
But you can try your luck as said by marcnath.
I know it's painful living far from your kids.
I pray that you receive approval asap.
