VERY URGENT - Required for Future letter date - 2 months old

Post by TreeHugger7 » Thu Jun 14, 2018 12:23 pm

Hi,

My company provided me with SOC confirmation with salary confirmation and that they need me for foreseeable future.

but it was dated 15th of April 2018 but my appointment is on 18th June 2018.

I asked HR to provide me latest letter but they are said the need approval and it will take time.

Would my it be acceptable to attach letter issued on 15th of April 2018?

thank you

You can try. There is no rule but generally your letters should be recent e.g issued within the last 30 days

Thank you so much for prompt reply dear.

Can I get these letters from my manager or they must need to be from HR ?

Many thanks

Rules do not say who should give you the letter. Use common sense :?

Does your list of absences include all absences? If so, then it should be fine. They will be able to check some of the details of the absences from your passport I guess, e.g. when you last entered the UK, etc, to verify the details of the letter.

Of course, what is considered reasonable depends on the caseworker as there is nothing specified in the guidance, but two months might be accepted for the other letter; it's tough to say.
