Tier2 and Secondment

Hi

I am having a bit of situation with my tier 2. I am on tier 2 visa with my employer from last 4 years.
there is a opportunity of secondment for 1 year with in the company on the same site but its a different department and some of my job roles will be different from current Job roles. Do I have to apply for another visa because my job roles are bit different ? and my second question is Does UKBA has any guidelines on on secondment on tier 2 visa so I can present it my employer .
