Is this correct or it's a typo from your side? As far as I know, this is not acceptable! Not even a two month period. My view is, this will have an impact on the application. If they mistakenly put that date, ask them to add a note. Again, best to wait for a moderator to add some more info too. Good luck
Ask them to add a note with a new end date. The end date with to a large extent determines the duration of visa that will be granted. Ideally, the end date should be 3 years or 5 years away, depending on how long you have already spent on Tier 2shengjiTEE wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 6:15 pmHello there,
I am currently switching from one employer to another.
The new job is a permanent position.
Under the "Work dates" section of my new CoS, the start date is 1 August 2018 and the end date is 14 September 2018. I was told that this does not matter when I apply for my new Tier 2 visa. Is that true?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Yours sincerely,
Tee
NO need for proof of finance for extensionshengjiTEE wrote: ↑Tue Jun 19, 2018 10:22 amEverybody, thanks a lot for your responses!
Yes the end date is indeed 14 September 2018.
The company has now given me another copy, with a sponsor note of the following:
Original Tier 2 granted on 12 September 2016 - 14 September 2018 via previous employer. We are looking to sponsor
X from 1st August 2018 until 11 September 2021. I can confirm that we are only looking to sponsor X Y Z and not any dependants.
Will the above be okay?
Another question is that as I am extending my current visa via a change of employment, do I need to show that I have £945 in my bank for subsistence?
Thanks a lot everybody again!
Yours sincerely,
Tee
