EEA (FM) payment not taken _june 2018

Hello guys !

A quick question please ! My wife (Eu national ) and I have submitted our application “EEA (FM)” to the home office on the 7th 2018 of June and so far the payment was not taken from te card . We have even called the bank to authorize any further direct payment but nothing happened yet and it’s a bit confusing and stressing.
Did anyone experienced this recently !?

NO BIOMETRIC

I dont know much about it

does anyone know if i should email them to find out when i will receive BIO details?

We received a post letter stating they received our application. And they sent back my wife passport as they did take a copy of it .

The letter contains their reference number ; EA**********/001.

I got my biometric enrolment yesterday, if I were you I would redo the payment page and send it to the home office one day delivery just incase you missed something on the payment part

I’m not sure if you can do it without a case ID.

Can someone who knows help

I’ll try to call them tomorrow and see if I can send the payment page on its own . They are a bit unprofessional. I spoke to one of them last time and she said that it takes up to six weeks for the payment which doesn’t make sense at all . Thanks a lot miss

I’ve sent them a letter explaining the delayed payment inquiry I have. And I’ve included an updated payment details from the EEA(FM) form. And then I’ve called them to see if my letter will be accepted and it was positive. The lady on the phone said it’s fine and I should not worry as the payment might take up to 6 weeks .

Once again. They are still confused with payment maximum process duration . Same calling centre with unmatched advise outcomes.

i would suggest browsing this website, you may see something similar to yours, if i do ill send you the link to it, people have waited long and almost lost hope and then something comes through mail, i hope everything work out fine for you

Thanks for your reply PrettyWoman.as I said on Monday I’ve sent them a post letter which includes the updated payment form and an explanation letter regarding the payment delay and this morning “Wednesday “ the payment was finally taken from the debit card .

I’ll keep updating my process so others will have a clue in the future on how long and how to do “ DIY “ to help them resolve their issues.

Honestly god knows how it will end . I’m an overstayer who got married to an EU citizen at a UK registry office and have a daughter born in London. I just hope it will goes well and quick . Stay in touch . Cheers

Here’s a bad news . I received a letter issued on the 26th of June saying that The application was rejected due to a payment failure. And the payment was taken on the 27th from my wife cards . Now I’ve to reapply again and send it fresh and complain about the fees they did take after rejecting . I told you they are so ignorant and unprofessional.
I hope yours will go through a better way.

I figured something was up with the payment

Write a cover letter explaining that they already took the money, write date, time etc I would....

That’s what I’m willing to do to have a refund . The payment is taken but still on pending on the bank statement . Once it’s clear that the transaction is completed I’ll include it on the letter .
I’m not worry about the refund as it’s clear I’ll receive it . I’m just worry about who’s gonna work on my case next time . Is it the same ignorant person or different one cause apparently they don’t care about people time and hopes .

If they only know that this kind of bureaucracy is one of the reasons I left my country for.

And yes the whole application must be redone again.

I doubt because you didn't get a case ID so I am assuming that you didn't get a case worker, I do not know.

Where are you from? I am from the Caribbean.

True ! The application was not processed so there was no case ID neither a case worker . I assume there’s no connection Between Durham and Liverpool as the first one just receive application and process the payment while the second one in Liverpool make the decision .

It happened for a reason and I’ll reapply again.

Fees : money taken on the 16th of July.
Passport return : not yet
Biometric enrolment: not yet
COA “ certificate of application “ : not yet .
