family vistor visa timings

Hi All,
I applied for parents visit from India in Hyderabad on 29th May 2018,Its been 3 weeks I have not got any notification about the decision,is this normal i have heard it takes maximum of 2 weeks for decision to be made.

Hi Sandeep,

Standard Visitor Visa is normally approved in 15 working days (excluding Saturday & Sunday).

Same happened with my parents - applied on 22 May 2018 in Delhi and then no email/text. Finally on 11 June got an email that decision has been made and VFS will contact you for collection. VFS's email came late 11th night and my parents collected their passports the next day.
