Change of Address while on Tier 2 General

Hi All,
I had changed my address last year while being on Tier 2 General. Was I supposed to inform the UKBA for the address change?
I am about to renew my visa (in Oct) and would this cause any trouble?

As a matter of fact my child was born after I moved to the new address and I had applied for all documents from this new address.

You will need to notify Home office if there is any change of circumstances from the below link :
