Hi all.
I have tried to look this up to no avail, hoping someone could help.
Say I want to work for Company A. They do not have a sponsor license. However, Company A is owned by Company B, and Company B DOES have a sponsor license.
Would I be able to receive a sponsorship for the position with Company A (through Company B), because it is owned by Company B?
I hope this is clear and you understand my question.

Double check the ownership of Company A. If they are a subsidiary of Company B, then yes, you can be sponsored by Company A, provided they are sending the pay checks. Alternatively, Company A can get a branch license of Company B. But it really depends how it's all set up. Ask the company, you might also be able to find some information on Companies House.

Hmm thanks, they are a subsidiary. I will check into this.
My company is a subsidiary and they applied under the banner of the main company. So my sponsoring company is Company B but the subsidiary is the office I work in... Hope that helps!
