Wrong Passport expiry date on CoS

Wrong Passport expiry date on CoS

I received CoS from my employer and there is one issue in it. The passport expiry date written on my CoS is a day after when it actually expires. Date given on CoS as passport expiry date is 21th December while the date on my passport is 20th December. Is that an issue which needs to be fixed before I apply for Visa and if it is, what is the process and duration of fixing it?

For people who may have similar issues in future, my employer added a "Sponsor Note" in already assigned COS in SMS to mention that they made a mistake in passport expiry date and also mentioned the correct passport expiry date.
