ILR under Tier 2 general

I am applying for ILR next month in person at Croydon.
I am earning 35.5 k pa.
Got LIfe in UK certificate couple of months ago and MSc degree in 2010.
I am into 6th year of my Tier 2 general visa under current sponsor.
I got my BRP for new sponsor in April 2016 and start date for new sponsor was July 2016 due to administrative delay which the sponsor is giving me delay in joining letter.

My question is will this delay in joining affect my ILR application.
