I applied for IGS on 20-12-2008 and the application was sent back to me (not refused) on 03-01-2008 because payment detail could not be processed. By the time my student visa expired (31-12-2007). I made a fresh IGS application on 04-01-2008 with new payment details (as advised). However, after I made number of calls finally after 4 motnhs they admitted that they had lost my passport and is now ready to bear the full cost of my new passport which I am gonna apply. Now I have withdrawn my application in the fear that if I wanted to continue my application with my new passport I might get refused due to late application (4 days late). I thought I'd rather go back to my home country and apply for entry clearence from there. Thats why I am waiting for my passport to come from my embassy in UK and as soon as I get it I am planning to travel back to my home country and apply for entry clearence (either IGS or TWES). I already have a job offer from one of the big4 accountancy firms and my employer will apply for a WP on my behalf. But I am gonna have to have entry clearence from my home country.
My questions are: 1.Have I done the right thing?
2.Can I apply for IGS from my home country now? If yes, what form should I use?
3.If my employer gets a WP for me, what troubles may I face when I apply for entry clearence from my home country? Are the entry clearence form for both IGS and WP (TWES) same?
Please help.
