Applied with all docs and HO requesting LIUK and English test

Post by JulianS10 » Thu Jun 28, 2018 5:36 am

Hello everyone ,

I have applied myself for Citizenship&Nationality & sent it all documents that were requested in the application procedure...,
Today , I have received all my documents back from the Home Office but my Life in UK paper test not !!!!!??...

However , attached, was a letter that stated, that I still have to send over my LIUK TEST and English proficiency certification as I do not have it along with the documents that I’ve sent it & as a must , in order to unable them to process the application.

I really do not know what to say .., is this done on purpose , or they just lost the paper ..., as I have myself a copy of the test & booking date for that examination too ...

In regard of the “English language proficiency “.., It is quite interesting that the GOV ,does not recognise a NVQ level 6 / management , which is accredited by Ofqual & Pearson & Edexcel as the major GOV bodies , that are issuing documents related to mostly everything from paper exams ,
GCSE ‘s , Certificates & Diploma’s not to mention that I have lived for 20 years in UK and I still have to pay another £ 200 pounds for that test .., and my cousin that has lived in UK for only 8 years and does not have any UK Qualification or homeland Diploma it was not even asked about it when he applied himself just 3 weeks before me & and received already a favourable decision ...HOW DOES THIS SOUND to you guys ..!!???

MOST important thing from the letter that I just received is , that it is DATED just 2 days prior arrival in my post , and I HAVE TO SUBMIT ALL DOCUMENTATION BY ..., please don’t laugh.., 09/06 / 2016

Let’s just say that it was a typo mistake .., however , that just leave me 5 working days to send over the documents/ certificates, that will attest my English proficiency and you can only book your test after 48 hours and the result will be given to you in 3 working days / time or in some cases , if you wanted to go via NARIC .., will take up to 10 working days , in which case .., especially mine , I have NO time to send back anything , as it will be to late anyway and it will be considered my application dropped or worse .., REFUSED . ..., and that beside the fact that will take 24/48 hours at least , to reach the desk , plus , I have to weekends in between ...IT IS JUST APPALLING..REALLY

If you try to call the phone numbers provided to tackle the situation somehow and gain some time , nobody’s answering.., at least myself I couldn’t get to speak to someone over the phone for 2 hours ..... I will try again today ...

PLEASE , Can anyone explain to me what is happening, and how can I handle this in time !!!???
Did anyone have come across a situation like this !!??
How did you sorted !!??

Thank you guys

What's the letter from the HO exactly said?

I know you definitely sent your LIUK test, did you send any result of the english language test as requested when you post your application in the first place?

The easiest way is book the test immediately, Trinity college London GESE B1, you can get the result paper saying you passed immediately after the test. Then post the test result first to HO by Special delivery and have a cover letter mention that the certificate will come once received.
