tier1 entrepreneur initial application -Outside UK

Hi Guys,

I would like to get some advice as i would be making an application soon, although i'm making application through a solicitor but need y'all two pence because you guys are highly knowledgeable.

1. I plan to register my company in the UK prior to my application to show genuineness, would this help?

2. Previously owned a company in the UK as a director so hoping this would help my application, aside from articles of association and current appointment report. What other evidence should i provide.

3. Source of funds evidence - Do i need to provide any without being asked? most of my funds have come from little savings, remortgage, credit cards and support from friends and family to start the business. Note the funds are in my account so not sure if i need to provide any third party declaration in this case.

4. This is a stupid one but i have to ask, any tips in proving genuineness in business plan aside from market research? what specifics should be in market research, this is for those that have been successful.

5. I have previously lived in the UK so do i i need to provide criminal record certificate for time spent in UK and not just my home country?

Again difficult to say if it will help. What happened to that company ? Why did you leave UK ? Generally there should be no relevance other than having the expertise if you are doing it in the same industry again. So showing the relevance of that business (if any) to this application makes more sense than articles of association (why would you ever submit that ??)

If funds have been in your account for 90 days, then nothing else is needed.
