Hi, can someone help me out as I'm slightly confused as to know I should calculate the financial requirements for my Husband's ILR.
I am working in the NHS as a HCA and I come under salaried employment. My basic pay is £16,104 per year and each I get a basic pay of £1,342.
We are going to apply under Cat A.
Scenario one: My February pay slip is £1,459.83 before tax.
My question is, if I take the minimum wage slip and multiply by 12, I would not be able to meet the financial requirements. But the pay slip is made up of different amounts. Which include Basic pay, bank holiday, night duty enhancement, Saturday, Sunday and WTD enhancements. So can we multiply basic pay with 12 and treat the enhancement income as non-salaried income?
My pay slips vary from £1,459 to £2,200 in the 6 months. So, in short, are they going to take my gross pay and multiply with 12, or will they take my basic pay and multiply with 12 and add on enhancements?
Second scenario: my February pay slip is £1,459.83 when my actual earning is £2,060 for that month. This is because in January NHS have mistakenly paid me an extra £620 and they adjusted the error in February's payslip leaving me with less than the requirement. If I provide an additional January payslip along with a letter from HR evidencing the mistake, will that be satisfactory?
Thanks in advance
