Hello to all

Finally I will be getting HCPC licence in 1 week.so now I am eligible to approach agencies for jobs,
Now my Question is,My profession Radiographer and my wife Nurse.
What should I do now should my wife come under work visa and I come dependent visa or both come under work visa.( our profession falls under shortage skilled visa)

and we are eliglbe for general tier-2 visa.

And my freind he will be joining in few months,he got visa for 3 years, so this same applies to us also.

depends on if reside in the UK is your long term plan. If so, my opinion is better get your own tier 2 working visa individually. Just in case, touch wood, one of you lose the job, can switch to tier 2 dependent of the other. If one tier2 main one dependent, if touch wood, the main lose the job, both has to leave the country.

If not, one main one dependent is better option for the dependent, because he/she can change the job freely without sponsor in the UK.

Both have their own advantage, up to you to decide.
