FLR (FP) - Outside the rules of immigration - Please Help

Post by Cavjordan » Thu Jul 05, 2018 7:02 pm

Hi all,

I moved to UK on Tier 4 four years ago. I have applied for FLR (FP) - outside the rules of immigration a few months ago.

Now I want to write to the caseworker and tell him/her to give more credence to my human rights case. My application encompasses details about my relationship with a British citizen. However, I feel my human rights case is even stronger.

I have already sent additional evidence in relation to the human rights aspect of my case but I feel I did not write enough details in the cover letter.

Is it possible to argue two justifications in an FLR (FP - Outside the rules of immigration) application?

Thanks!

Are two justifications in the application I have submitted allowed?

Your answers will be greatly appreciated :P

Could anyone here please reply - Is it okay to provide more than one reason as justification in an FLR (FP) - Outside the rules of immigration visa application?

I am extremely concerned about the above. I would be really really really grateful to you all if you could address my concern raised in this thread.

A relationship alone with a British citizen won't stand up in a Human rights claim, even more so when there doesn't appear to be children involved. Neither will 4 years qualify as having established a life here which is preventing you from returning home.

What exactly are you basing your application on?

Hello Casa,

Thank you for replying.

The human rights reasoning is based on the fact that I will not be accepted by my family back home. They are already mad at me for being in a serious relationship with someone who follows a different faith. My liberal values are another issue etc. There are some additional intricate reasons/developments as well.

I changed my correspondence address on the relevant page of UKVI and it's been over 10 days now. I was supposed to receive a confirmation of the change of address in 3 working days.

The link I used is as follows:

https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... pdate.ofml

I do not want UKVI to send anything to my solicitor. I want to deal with everything myself.

Is submitting the form online with the relevant documents enough?

There was no direction option to change correspondence address so I just changed my home address.

My home address was same as before though. I have only made this change to make the UKVI utilise my home address as my correspondence address.

Have I done this correctly? If not, kindly advise. I want all correspondence to be sent me directly, not to my below par solicitor.

Visa refused - 7 days given versus 14 days

Post by Cavjordan » Wed Jul 11, 2018 9:16 pm

Hi

On what basis, does the UKVI sometimes give 7 days to the immigrant to leave the country instead of the usual 14?

Are the 7 days fall in the category of working days or mere calender days?

Does the count start from the date of the letter or from the day the letter is actually received?

Are refusal letters usually signed for so there is proof about the date of the receipt of the letter?

A fast reply will be great.

Thank you.
