Visit France with a 1951 Travel Document

Post by Ibyvana » Fri Jul 06, 2018 6:40 pm

Hello everyone,

I am a holder of a 'Convention of 28 July 1951' travel document issued by the UK government.
The travel document expires in February 2019, so I am wondering for how long I can still enter France using it.

Regards,.

The travel document needs to be valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended duration of stay in the Schengen territory, including France.

Meaning you have to leave 3 months before expiry.

Until then you can spend 90 days in any given 180 day period as a visitor.
