Good Character - SP50 Speeding - FPN

Post by Ramaya » Mon Jul 09, 2018 5:29 pm

Hi people,

I apologise if what I am asking has been asked before but each case is a bit different and I would like to know what could be the outcome on mine.

I'm in the process of preparing to apply for my British Citizenship, have been in the UK since 2007 + have permanent resident status since 23/01/17.

I was issued a speeding ticket, SP50 - Speeding on a motorway, £100 fine, and 3 points on my license.

The constable cautioned me on the spot that if I didn't pay the fine I would have to appear in the court.

Needless to say, I paid the fine the next morning in the Aberdeen Sheriff Court.

Is this still considered an FPN?
Will this affect my application?
I take I should include it as part of it?

Yes it's FPN

You should declare it

It will not effect your application since you not went to court
