Entering uk after Tier 5 has expired

Urgent!!!!
Hi, my Tier 5 YMV will expire in September 2018. I am planing on leaving to do my final travel through Europe in the month of September 2018 and return back to Scotland for a week to gather the rest of my belongings and say by to my friends.
I will be buying my return ticket back to New Zealand or Australia before going to Europe so I would have an exit-ticket out of the uk, to show border control & enough funds to support me while here. My question is would i be able to get back into the uk with my YMV having expired a month before. Being from New Zealand we don't need a visitor visa to come into the UK if we have an exit out.
