EEA Permanent residence part-time worker and student

Hi there,

So right to the point is that I am an EEA national and have been in the UK for 15 years both as a worker and student.
Now I have been thinking about applying for a permanent residence card, but I am not sure if that would be necessary, especially when the UK goverment said it won't be valid after brexit?
What is your advice?

Thank you
