is hotel address ok for eea family permit to uk?

i will be applying for a family permit for my partner to the uk, as both of us are not living in the uk at present is it ok to put down a hotel address when applying on visa4uk?

Also if we get the family permit can my partner travel alone to the uk as i will be there a few weeks before her?

Yes and yes, better if you attach a cover letter so on the FP they can print “to join” and not “to accompany”. It’s pretty much the same but if you reach the border without your EEA partner they can question you.
