Hello. I'd appreciate any help as I'm losing the will to live. I'm a Polish citizen, in the UK since 2006. I applied for permanent residence in 2016 and my application was refused. I saw a solicitor who said even though most of the reasons given by home office weren't valid I couldn't appeal because they were right in on thing - I didn't have private health insurance when I took break after graduating uni and before working full time (I used to work when at Uni and then was using private doctors not NHS but anyway). Solicitor told me then I can reapply in August 2018 as I will have 5 years continuous employment then and it will be the only thing that home office looks at.
I started the online application again today (was going to submit it in two weeks when the 5years pass) but they ask if I studied here (i did but graduated in 2011) and if I worked in the UK during Poland's accession period. I have but I worked part time and I was a full time student. I had the workers registration card (or however was it called) but I was also supported by my family. It was all legal, I just don't have all the documents needed as it was such a long time ago - and that was one of the reason they rejected my first application. My question is - do i need to submit all of it since it was well over 5 years ago? My solicitor was sure I only need evidence from the past 5 years and I got confused! Thank you
