Tier 2 - PBS Dependant child visa consent letter

Dear experts,

I´m applying for a Tier 2 visa and need to provide the following document for my 18months daughter application:

Letter of consent from your parent(s) or legal guardian(s)

A letter of consent that confirms:

-the relationship between you and your parent(s)/legal guardian(s)
-consent from your parent(s)/legal guardian(s) to the application
-consent from your parent(s)/legal guardian(s) to the living arrangements in the United Kingdom and the address where you will be staying
-whether one or both of your parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have responsibility for you

Both parents/legal guardians must sign the letter, except where only one parent/legal guardian has sole responsibility for you.


I´m traveling with my husband and my daughter so I´m not sure what kind of consent letter I should provide. I kindly appreciate your guidance on what type of letter of consent should we provide if we are traveling together. Should we authenticate the letter?

I think if both parents travelling together I do not think so they will require any consent letter
