ILR - Question D4 and D5

Post by Cavjordan » Thu Jul 19, 2018 6:53 pm

Hi,

This query is for someone else. My friend is about to apply for her ILR - 10 year route.

She is unsure about the following:

Is the credit/debit card number supposed to be written like:

1234-5678-9101-2134

or

123456789101112

(Can she include hyphens or not in the boxes? Space after writing four digits or not?)

---

Her leave expired 3rd May 2018 but then applied for FLR (HRO) and the decision on it is still pending.

Page 11 of SET (LR) application states the following:

When does your leave expire?

She is on Section 3c right now so she is not comfortable writing 3rd May 2018 in the boxes there. What is she supposed to write there? Can she just write a note that she is on Section 3c without filling the boxes? Is that acceptable?

D5 If your leave to enter/remain has expired, did this leave expire within 14 days of this application being made?

Yes/No? What is she supposed to write there?

D6 Tick to confirm you have provided evidence that your application was submitted out of time due to reasons beyond your control ?

??? If she mentions and writes 3rd May 2018 - she will be forced to tick this box which will look so bad. It will also be untrue as this not an out of time application.

D7 Have you ever overstayed in the UK?

She has not.

Page 24

Her original 3 passports/last Biometric ID are already with the Home Office .. does she have to provide p60s with my 10 year settlement application or any other document apart from the following:

2 x Photographs – Original
Life in the UK test result - Original
UK Masters degree - Original

(Colour copies)

1 x Current Valid passport – Colour Copy
1 x BRP Card – Colour Copy
1 x Life in the UK Certicate – Colour Copy
1 x Masters degree Certificate – Colour Copy

1 x Masters degree transcript – Colour Copy - Is the transcript required?

Any other document required?

Thank you in advance.

Yes/No? What is she supposed to write there? No.

Thank you for your reply.

Btw, she cancelled her premium appointment over 30 days ago but she still has not received any refund. Is there a phone number or email address to get this sorted?

On their website, it is written, refund will be processed within 28 days. I have 'never' seen any organisation who takes this long to process a refund. What is going on :/

Get a faster reply to your visa application

You may be able to get a decision on your visa within 5 working days if you’ve sent your application by post and the payment has cleared.

If you’re applying for limited leave to remain (using Tier 4 or FLR forms for example) then you won’t be able to get a faster reply using this service.

You can also use this service to apply for a biometric residence permit (BRP) if you’re settled in the UK with no time limit.

What happens next

Only the first 5 requests received each day between 8am and midday (Mondays to Thursdays only) are accepted.

You’ll get an email by 5pm the same day if you’ve been accepted.

https://www.gov.uk/faster-reply-visa-application

Only first 5 requests are accepted .. Is this like a lottery or is this the best and fastest possible way to vary the application if it has already been posted?

Have any of you guys taken this route?
