Ireland critical skills permit

Post by Meisiekind81 » Mon Jul 23, 2018 12:34 pm

Hi,

I've applied for a critical skills work permit on 2 July. If I look at the current processing dates for work permits it's about 6 weeks behind so mine will be processed roughly around 14 August.
My question is - How long does it take plus minus from when your application is in the front of the que to hearing about the decision?
My contract starts on 1 September (I do not need a visa entry into Ireland as a South African so I don't need to do that after I got my work permit) Is this timeline pushing my boundaries to far?

Thanks
