PBS dependent ( Tier 1 dependent )- ILR query

Post by vtshetty » Mon Jul 23, 2018 8:58 pm

I've booked appointment for my wife's ILR this month end. She is tier 1 dependent ( PBS dependent as per biometric card ) - I've got British passport way back in 2016.

She is working and on maternity since May 2018 - SET(O) form has details to mention about the employment and I'm not sure whether I've to mention that she is working and on maternity leave now. Below are the questions I need answers for please .

5.8 Please give the start and end dates of the period of maternity, paternity, shared parental or adoption-related absence (if you are still absent from the workplace due to maternity or adoption related leave, the end date should be left blank).

5.2 Do you or your partner, or both, pay any rent or mortgage for your home?
I own the house and I pay mortgage - should I mention these details?

5.3 Are you working in the UK?
Should I mention yes she is working?

5.4 Does a relative or friend of you or your partner, or both of you, regularly give you money?
I give her dividend from my limited company should I mention it?

Main doubt in my mind is if I declare her working details , do I have to provide her payslips;bank statements ; reference letter and dividends ( paid from my limited company ) for last 3 months or I should provide just my details and show my employment details ( I'm a contractor - Limited company ) - just show my SA,CT, Dividend, Bank statements, payslips and accountant letter.

I need some help with this please - I got appointment on 30th July 2018 -- appreciate you response.

Hi Swe,

It did go easy - nothing to worry.

I did say that she is working and also mentioned that she was in maternity.

I also did fill amount of £200 monthly for her expenses ( application form has a field for this ) which you don’t need proof.

I didn’t submit any of her employment details

I just submitted below list of documents

1) My Limited Company details Sa; Tax details etc
2) payslips - 6 months
3) dividend vouchers - 6 months
4) reference letter from my accountant
5) maximum amount of address history - joint Eletric; water bill etc - 3 years , I guess 2 years is good enough
6 ) my uk passport copy
7) my daughters birth certificate and uk passport copy

However , I did take all my spouse employment details - for safety . I didn’t submit nor i’ve Asked

Hope this helps

Thanks,
V Shetty

Hi vkshetty,
Thanks for your quick response and sharing the list of documents thats really helpful

Just to reconfirm In section 5.3 and 5.4
5.3 Are you working in the UK? Yes No
You have mentioned [YES]

(If so, what is your pay each month after income tax and other deductions? )
???? (what will be the amount)

5.4 Does a relative or friend of you or your partner, or both of you, regularly give you money?
Yes No If so, how much do you receive each month?

I Suppose you have answered YES and amt £200 (correct me if i am wrong)

And In section13:
Section 13 - Consent for the Home Office to request verification checks (continued)
If the account with the bank or utility company relates to another person who is to provide the applicant with financial support, that person* should sign the following declaration

Did you provided your details?

And finally in the Accountant letter, have you mentioned your wife as a director and currently in maternity leave?

Thanks,
Swe
