Reduce working hours

Hi, i am on tier 2 Work permit working full time 37.5 hours. I would like to reduce my hours to about 34 hrs for child care reasons. Will I have to inform Home office or should my employer do it?

your employer should do this. but will it fall below 30000 annual?

I am on the shortage occupation list. But it will remain over the required threshold.
