Hi,

I have been already with my Russian girlfriend for 10 months and we are planning to get married on Christmas to invite her to the UK (I am EU Citizen, but I have been living and working in the UK for more than 10 months).

I would be really important for us if you would help us with the following questions, please...

Family Visa

- Is it (Family Visa) the appropriate visa to get married in the UK and staying together after that?

- How long does it take to get this visa?

- Do the EU Citizen has to request the "indefinite leave to remain"? How long does it take to get it?

- What is the difference between premium or online application? just the time? Is it possible to apply on her behalf in London as it is cheaper?

- What is the best way to prove that we are in a "genuine relationship"?

- How do we probe that we will enter "into a civil partnership in the UK within 6 months of arriving"?

- Knowledge of English, is it enough the A1 or is it advised to go for a higher level if possible? (her English level is really high).

- Should I have visited her in Russia first in order to get this approved?

- Once this is approved, where do we have to register in order to get married? Are there any special requirements for this between EU Citizen and Non-EU Citizen?
