Tier 2 Visa Delay (in country)

Post by djeborda » Mon Jul 30, 2018 12:06 pm

Hi All,

I would like to seek for your advice. I am a Nurse and I applied for a new Tier 2 Visa (change of employer, still the NHS though).

I paid for it 16 May 2018, submitted my documents and did my Biometrics 17th May 2018.

I paid for a Standard Processing.

It is the 11th week this week, and it will be 12 weeks next week.

I keep on contacting UKVI but I keep getting the same computer generated response that my application has not yet been completed.

I feel very anxious about this, as I am going to Italy this 31 August 2018 and I still have to apply for a New Schengen Visa for Italy (it takes less than 5 working days to get a Schengen Visa for Italy).

I have emailed the HR of my new employer, hoping they can contact Home Office on my behalf.

I have already sent a complaint email letter as well to the Complaints Department of the Home Office.

Any thoughts or advice?

I really need my passport and new Visa ASAP.
