EU1 - Extra rights after 12 months

Hi

I read somewhere that after 12 months of staying with the sponsor, the dependant family member gets extra rights. Is this true and what rights are those?

I am waiting for my parents EU1 app to be decided in an appeal (filled in EU4) and its been almost 1 yr since we initially applied for EU1. What additional rights do they earn after 12 months?

This is the first time I'm hearing about "extra rights after 12 months” so I’m not sure what you are talking about. Where did you get this information from? Certainly not something the government or INIS are sharing through the official channels.

i never heard abt it. my mother EU1 application is in from last 2 years, currently in repatriation unit for almost one year.
