Impossible to get the Tier 2 priority slot?

Hi,

Asking for anyone having experience with this route. This is the first time I am applying for Tier 2 priority. I know that I have to email them a request form to be considered. They take 80 applicants per day starting from 8:30.

I thought it would be a process of if I don't get in today they would move me to the next day but apparently you have to try yourself every day.

Yesterday I sent that email at 2 pm thinking the above. This was obviously late, but I sent anyway thinking it will move to next day. I was sent an email that the quota of 80 applicants has been completed and please try again another day. Thats fair.

Today I sent my request at 8:39 and again got the email that the quota was reached and my application would not be considered today.

Do I have to submit 8:30 on the dot? I'll try that tomorrow, but asking here just in case if anyone else had this issue and how they resolved it?

I am in the same position as you were. I have been applying for 3 days, and I am still out of luck. I applied precisely the moment the clock turns to 8:30. I would love to hear some tips if there are any from the experienced people.

It's not impossible to get the slot.

My relative's representative law firm requested inclusion in tier 2, 10 day priority to Home office via email the first day at 9:02am and request refused via email at 2:15pm same day.

On the following day request was made sharply at 8:30am at 05 seconds, that is, 08:30:05 hrs and received a successful inclusion in tier 2 application.

TIP: Use an online clock which shows exactly online time is seconds to help you fetch the earliest request.

TIP:80 requests will be issued in a day. Mondays and Fridays are the hardest to get - I ASSUME all 80 gets booked within 2 mins.
