Payslips salary and actual salary different

Post by mullangi1237 » Mon Aug 06, 2018 6:40 pm

Hi,

I’m due for ILR on 15/08/2018. I have all docuemmtation ready. I have found 1 issue with my payslips just today.

My salary is £38000. My take home after all the deductions is £2405.45 and this all right until April 2018 both in my payslips and salary transfer to my account. Since May 2018 there was further £35 deductions (pensions) on my payslips but I’m still getting £2405.45 as salary to my account. I have checked this difference today and notified this to my employer. They admitted that I was paid £35 extra every month and they will deduct this extra amount in my future salary payments.

Now is this difference of salary in payslips to actual transfer to my account will effect my ILR application which I’m supposed to go any day after 15/08/2018? If yes, can I request my employer to formally give me a letter (hard copy) stating the same - will this solve my problem?

Alternatively, please advice if have to find alternative solution.

Thanks in advance

Does your payslip show -£35 going towards pension?

If it does, then its best to get a letter from the employer saying this will be adjusted in next payslip.

Yes,

Payslip clearly show all the deductions and the final payment is £2371.18.

In my bank account I’m getting salary of £2405.45.

So the difference is £34.27 (for May, Jun, Jul 2018 respectively).

Thanks

Hi,

If is showing pension word on you payslip then the Best option is to ask the employer, Stop Contribution Pension.
1- You need to send one letter to employer and request stop contribution pension so far whatever you paid you cannot claim back or adjust until the age of 55.

2- Your employer will request to his account to stop Pension contribution. But if you want to continue pension then only need to mention overpaid adjustment last 3 or 4 months difference.

3- You can request one letter to the employer whatever he paid extra adjust in next pay e:g 3 month you get extra 35.
35* 3=105 minus as comment on payslip adjustment overpaid.
Do not mention pension adjustment word otherwise, its gonna be an issue for you. just overpaid adjustment.

Pension: You already cross opt-out period
