Postal Office not releasing BRP - URGENT visa expiring

Post by jonosterman » Wed Aug 08, 2018 4:17 am

Hello -
I am out of UK ( due to medical reasons) and want my spouse to collect the BRP who works for the NHS .
- We mailed 3rd party collection inbox and they sent us a reply saying my spouse can collect it from the post office once its there .

- They said she needs to show my passport , her passport and the email communication with 3rd party collection print out

However the postal office is not releasing my BRP - stating they have not yet received authorization to give to anyone else as yet . They confirmed the BRP is there , but they cannot release.

I have mailed 3rd party collection inbox to send this "authorization" to the post office - but have not got any response yet ..been 3 days since i mailed .. also my visa is expiring this week !

Can someone please let me know what authorization is needed by the post office ?? 3rd party collection have already said in their mail to me - its cleared for collection . Does postal guys also need some communication from them separately ???

thanks !

Was it made clear in the information given to the '3rd party inbox' that you haven't yet entered the UK :?:

To the best of my knowledge the entry stamp in the passport is required.
