Wrong IHS fee for tier 2 dependent??

Post by Cymjay » Fri Aug 10, 2018 5:52 am

Hey all,

So I am the main applicant for a Tier 2 General Migrant (up to 3 years) with a 1 year period of work stated on CoS. That's what I entered for my IHS payment and they charged me $280 USD. Seems correct.

Applied for my wife as well as a Tier 2 dependent General Partner (up to 3 years). However the IHS payment page made me pay $840 USD which is for the full 3 years. There was no way for me to undo this amount so I paid it.

Can anyone figure out why this happened or if I will get a refund if the visa is approved?

Is it possible the visa will be denied for overpaying?
