Full time employed + company director

Post by az91 » Sun Aug 12, 2018 9:31 am

Hi all,

This is my first post here so first of all hi to everyone!

I am applying for my partner to join me in the UK. I'm a British citizen and have been working with a tech company for the past 2 years. My salary is more than the minimum requirements.

9 months ago I decided to start my own business on the side and I registered it with my friend (50/50 company ownership, both directors). We didn't have enough time to grow the business and consequently didn't do any business through the limited company, that is zero revenue so far.

When applying for spouse VISA, what do I say regarding my employment? Do I say that I'm only employed, or do I include my "self-employment" and set 0 income. I'm looking at Appendix, questions around 3.49-3.57.

Thank you for your help,

A
