Overstay from 2008 till now

I came to the uk to 2007 stayed for 6months and left. I came back march 2008 and stayed here till now. I don't have any criminal records I want to know how to i can legalised my papers or even though my brother is british can it help me even if im nearly 29 years old. Also i never applied for anything
