Biometric card

Post by Maryjo131261 » Sun Aug 12, 2018 8:28 pm

Hi, my name is Mary jo, I’ve lived in the uk scince 1978, I have a stamp in my old passport which I carry when I travel along with my new one, I also have a letter from the home office dated 1978, on my last trip in June returning from Florida I was told by immigration that the wet stamp in my passport will soon no longer be accepted and I need a biometric card, I’ve gone on and looked and filled in the application on line, but they are asking for bills etc from each year I’ve lived here, ( impossible for me to obtain this) I have council tax bill etc but not for that far back, has anyone had this problem ? My passport is valid for another 5 years ,am I ok to carry on with the stamp I have in my American passport ? It’s such a worry, all reply’s will be grateful , thank you :)
